Techcrunch reports on Tinker, the latest offering from Glam Media. Tinker allows users to set up a ‘homepage’ for events discussed on Twitter, aggregating Tweets and user details. I haven’t used the service yet - it’s closed, private beta - however, it sounds like a significant improvement on hashtags and trends. In fact it may prove a really powerful idea, as these aggregate ‘homepages’ may become the first port of call for those wanting to keep up with breaking news, particularly if Tinker integrates other feeds and services.
